About Us
What EntryCompass is, how our travel information is researched, and how to reach us.
Last updated 2026-08-30
EntryCompass is an independent, free travel information service. The idea is in the name: before you go, know what is expected of you at the border and how to get there. Across the site we cover 204 countries, 295 cities and 182 airports, with entry requirement data for hundreds of country pairs.
What we do
We research and organise travel information — entry requirements, visa rules, permitted stay, and practical arrival guidance — into clear pages you can search, compare, and share. Every country has a guide with per-passport visa data, and the busiest cities and airports have their own pages with transport and background details.
Where our information comes from
- Each entry requirement is based on official sources: government visa portals, immigration authorities, and international aviation documents.
- Every page is date-stamped, so you can see when a rule was last reviewed.
- When official sources disagree, we say so clearly and point you to the source you can trust.
- We keep verified requirements separate from general travel advice.
Our editorial standards
- Editorial content is written independently of advertising and affiliate partnerships.
- Affiliate links and advertisements are labelled and kept visually distinct from the information itself.
- We correct errors promptly — you can report an outdated page on the Contact page.
What we are not
EntryCompass is not a government service, embassy, or visa agency. We do not issue visas, guarantee entry, or make decisions on your behalf. Only the relevant authorities decide who is admitted to any country.
