How to apply
- Complete the Standard Visitor visa application online on GOV.UK before you travel
- You can apply from 3 months before your planned travel date
- Book and attend an appointment at a visa application centre to provide biometric information (fingerprints and photo)
- Pay the Standard Visitor visa fee of £135 for a visa valid for 6 months
- You usually receive a decision on your visa within 3 weeks of your appointment
- The visa allows multiple entries with stays of up to 6 months per visit

Conditions & restrictions
- A Standard Visitor visa is usually valid for up to 6 months for tourism and permitted activities
